Our Western Red select cedar is dried and dressed smooth on all four sides ready for sanding and finishing on your next project. It varies in colour from dark brown heartwood to the lighter slightly reddish sapwood. The select grading means that most pieces will be completely clear with the possibility of an odd tight dime-sized knot. Cedar is dimensionally stable and rot resistant making it the perfect wood for many applications including high-end outdoor projects, boat building or saunas.
